I wonder why make small bales, so that later they can be combined with other equipment, if there are balers that immediately make a normal bale?
Although contractor it would not be financially viable to buy any of these contraptions! I watch to see the Tractors pulling them . Although the conventional baler one looks better then New Holland self propelled! We bale alot but haul only about 700 bales .wats wrong with old days and flat 8 and bloke on trailor stacking by hand? Graft you lazy sods lol
A Claas big round bale
A bale or hay bale is a piece of agricultural machinery, a shear and compact bales that are easy to transport and store (e.g. straw, cotton, flax straw, salt marsh straw or silage handle used for compacting combed trimming). Often, bales are structured to dry and preserve some of the intrinsic (eg nutritional) values of the packaged plants. Commonly, different types of balers are used, each producing different types of bales, either rectangular or cylindrical, tied with twine, hoop, net or wire.
Industrial balers are used in material recycling facilities, especially for baling metal, plastic or paper for transportation.
