You've got a pretty good idea for grinding corn! It would be even better yet if you could get some metal make the rings that go around the blade instead of the wood so it might hold up for a long time if the wood doesn't last that long. But it's a good idea and it works really good!

I would suggest a CLEAN paint bucket, and maybe stir the ground corn with a magnet to pick up any steel in there.

good for hog and chicken feeds. is it not too expensive for electrical power than what we usually buy for that purpose?
