I live in lower latitudes and don't see snow very often. I have never been in a white-out situation, but that last few minutes of this video looked very close to what I would imagine a white-out to be like.

Made in Tasmania I believe. They tried to use one going to mainland Australia but the sea was too rough for it. It seems to be in its element in this video. Cheers from Tasmania
Ferry companies used to run these in the Irish Sea between Scotland & Ireland in the 1990s. They fell out of favour due to high running costs & the rough seas. Passengers constantly complained of sickness.
