Pilots should always have ability to override a system to take manual control of a plane. Always.
The FAA probably receives free flights from Boeing. Soooo, do you think they have a vested interest in certifying the plane without proper testing, etc ??? In the U.S. money Trumps peoples lives !!! Don't doubt it for a moment !!!
