EEMNES - A tractor with hay-making machine went up in flames on Monday afternoon in the Eemnesser polder. Around a quarter to three the fire was reported on Noord Ervenweg.
The fire brigade was quickly on site to extinguish, but halfway through the extinguishing action the water turned out.
Only when there was reinforcement from Laren and Zeist, the extinguishing could be resumed. The tractor and haymaking machine have been totally destroyed. It is not yet clear how the fire started.
Sorry for your loss those are nice tractors!! Any farmer can tell how it hurts to have a fire an lose equipment. Did any 1 know what happened yet?
