At 19 years old I was a choker setter for a helicopter logging company in the Pacific Northwest. My older brother was a faller for the same outfit. I worked with the company for a year and decided that I wanted to have a job outside of the woods. Thanks for showing the public how amazing these jobs are.

Stunningly beautiful area - I worked up Indian Arm BC years ago building HUGE timber rafts/docks directly on the water - takes balls of steel to work with huge lumber - you feel like a tiny ant - truly another world all together ! I find it hard to make really sense of this expensive logging operation - seems to be cutting down a bunch of majestic trees - some pretty rotten - - not sure how much of the fallen trees are later flown out - all seem to explode on impact leaving only a few good salvageable pieces from each tree.... I guess that`s all it takes to make it profitable - kinda a shame. Could you later expand on what gets flown out and what gets to stay behind - thanks man

That dip on the second cut of the last tree...I saw that coming, probably because I could see myself affected by gravity and terrain in much the same way. You did hack out he flaw pretty nicely with the axe. Once again, I am very impressed with your skills. Oh, the footage of the flight in was absolutely Epic, as well! Really set the scene for viewers' understanding what kind of landscape you're working in.
