The new John Deere combine harvester (acquisition year 2014) from the S-series S685i is one of the largest and most powerful harvester in Germany.
Equipped with caterpillar drive and a 12.34 m harvesting attachment (central belt cutting) 640D, probably the widest cutting unit in Europe.
The cutting unit is used with support wheels, as well as a split coiler for cereal harvesting or wheat, barley, rye and tritical harvest.
Grain harvesting in 2015 started with barley.
