I am doing a walkaround of the X9 1000 combine sitting outside of JD Harvester works. Had to repost because I had an error in the information.
My cousin has been interning with John Deere for a couple of years, he was with the harvest works a couple years ago. From what he’s told me (aug. 1) there pretty beastly
did you engineer the gullwing doors to open higher so techs taller than 5'10" dont smash their head on them all day long? That would be a nice start!
Good video! Combine looks great! Really like all the new changes. Been wondering when they were going to go bigger than a class nine machine
Down here in louisiana, there was an x9 combine cutting rice yesterday. There were some john deere engineers sithing through the straw, seeing how much rice was left on the ground. They were experimenting with it and seeing how well it performed in the rice fields. I was evan able to get close to it in person. I am so lucky to be able to see this beastly machine in action.
Very interesting, I enjoy your vlogs. Your a engineer for JD. Some people can’t justify the cost of this implement. There is a lot of money spent to make this combine Cutting edge of technology. I get it. I’m a proud member of the UAW as a retired Tool & Die Maker. Remember this. “Cheap labor is not skilled...Skilled labor is not Cheap”.
