Carrot harvest with a 6-row self-propelled beet harvester - how does it work? D. Schwutke implemented it and shows in the video how the carrots are grown for harvest. The beet harvester is also traditionally used on the Schwutke farm in Holdenstedt for the sugar beet harvest, and even for the red beet harvest. COMMENTS: - -Hello Bernd interesting to see the carrot harvest with cultivation methods. If you get good sales for the carrots
Awesome video. What I like again and again is that you don't use this EDM music all the time, but that you can still hear the machine sounds
Moin Bernd, another nice video from the Schwudke family. The explanations about the technology and the cultivation are nice. Farm on, Andreas
Top video- everything well shown / explained no questions remain unanswered! Better not to utilize the harvester.would like to look at the harvest too.and the smell definitely smelled like?
Great video. Interesting to note that the carrot harvester in the video is made by Grimme. The largest carrot grower in the USA is and has been the Grimm family. (Grimmway Farms) They developed and manufactured their own carrot harvester that uses small tapered augers to loosen the soil and then the carrots are pulled up into the machine by the tops that are still attached. The tops are cut off on the machine before being loaded in the truck that takes them to the processing facility
