From what I've gathered from watching documentaries, fighter pilots always puckered when those Mig-29's showed up! Damn sure is one bad'ass aircraft

Because Polish forces didn't have any replacement parts, they tried to manufacture their own. Their counterfit part for catapult system resulted in death of a pilot.

I got to fly in a two-seater MiG29 at the Abbotsford Airshow. Impressive control considering its mechanical/hydraulic not fly-by-wire.
