What a fantastic piece of camera work, nice smooth zooms and pans, well framed, no stupid music... great job! Really great job.... wonderful helicopter
Cool video. Technical genius engineering to design and build that beast. Hats off to all the professionals who fly and maintain them all these years
When I rode in one, there was hydraulic fluid slowly dripping from the rear ceiling. I pointed it out to flight engineer/load master riding in the back with us. He said, "good, let me know if it stops"... Top 5 best response ever!
This was nice, I'm always in awe just how great this machine is, and, just how those blades don't touch each other...Good video too!
If these were used in RVN I was never up close to one and never realized how big they had to be. I was always watching them bring stuff in or take it out. THanks MUCH! Great video!
I once had the privilege to step onboard a specimen from the Dutch Koninklijke Luchtmacht, as it was safely parked in a hangar of the (then) Helikopterservice (Now CHC Helikopterservice) main base at Sola Airport, Stavanger, Norway. That bird had been transported by road - on a trailer - for a complete maintenance overhaul at Sola. I distinctly remember the huge, six 'stacked' rotor-blades secured in the aircraft's loading bay. What a truly awesome machine!
