This video shows why plastic trash is detrimental to marine life and why especially plastic straws are one of the most superfluous items made out of plastic,
especially if they end up as plastic trash in our oceans. The research team around Christine Figgener (Texas A&M University)
found a male Olive Ridley sea turtle during a in-water research trip in Costa Rica.
He had a 10-12 cm PLASTIC STRAW lodged in his nostril, they removed it..
Com: oldman : Damn so painful to watch as humans its e z to see the bad in each other and in a way easier to hurt or kill a human per se.
but an innocent beautiful creature suffering b.c of human pollution doesn't deserve anything close to this pain and suffering.
God bless yall for the help..
Com: greg kts : It's pretty good to see people who actually care about these poor creatures but I am pretty sure that this turtle needed an expert vet to surgically remove that straw without torturing the animal.
I mean, I get that you had a good purpose but you don't know if you have done more good than bad...
I share the message,
Say no to plastic in coasts and seas but also I share the message Let experts do their job (especially doctors)..........
