As deep as this appears to be i don't think chains would have done any better. Chains need something to bite into and you can't really bite pudding.

A single tire skidder should have never been in a wet place like that to start with. Bad decision on the driver and whoever told him to go there in the first place

why do these logger not run tire chains not only do they provide tire protection but they will go so much better in mud ice climbing over whatever ive been in logging business for a long time in vt never would run a skidder without chains they just wont perform as well
