The LTM 1650-8.1has been designed for maximum performance and the result is impressive – it will be able to complete hoisting work in the 700-tonne class or even higher with ease. It therefore has a nominal load capacity of 700 tonnes. The LTM 1650-8.1 travels with an axle load of 12 tonnes complete with its 54-metre telescopic boom and the front supports. To minimize the set-up time, however, the rear supports are installed as complete support box in a single hoist and connected using quick-release couplings.
The size alone is fascinating but the sophisticated build is what really takes my breath away. Great presentation
This is an amazing crane! I really like the "self assembly" capabilities of this amazing LTM 1650 telescopic crane. The LTM 1650 crane is a wonder of design and engineering!
It must be rewarding to the designers of these thing to see how many people just love watching them setup.
Just came back from the UK and watched several of their cranes self erect. Unbelievable the complex movements but speed they were doing. They are building the world.
