A tractor crashed into a house near Telford. The collision involving a tractor towing a trailer happened on a double bend on the B5062 Cotwall Lane, in High Ercall. The front of the green tractor was embedded in the ground floor of the cream-coloured two-storey cottage.
Tractor: - The tractor is a self-propelled land vehicle with a self-propelled engine that attracts agricultural equipment (plow, reaper, seeder, sprayer, crop mower, etc.) Although locomobils are considered to be the first pioneers of tractors, the first tractor with an internal combustion engine was made by John Froehlich of Iowa in the USA in 1892.
Although the operating principle is not much different from automobiles, it still has characteristic features. The most prominent features are the narrow-section body mounted on axles that are quite high above the ground, and the rear wheels with very large deep grooves compared to the front wheels. This shape of the rear wheels enables the vehicle to operate in all kinds of terrain and soft ground without skidding and tipping. There are also tracked tractors for some special conditions. As the pallets spread the weight of the tractor over a wider area, they prevent the soil on which it passes from getting stuck and help the tractor grip the soil better.
