Chopped up this year with occasionally up to four Claas Jaguars and a John Deere 8500i.
The Jaguars have with their 8 or 10 rows Kemper intentional area of about 2-3ha per hour. The maize is chopped up to a few millimeters by over 500 hp engines. The chopping power is about 100-200 tons per hour. For a smooth removal to the biogas plant were up to 10 vehicles ready, so that waiting times could be avoided by the shredder.
