I've conducted landing operations in an LCAC in the 1980s, so it's old technology. Still, it is something I will never forget. Like it's Russian counterpart, it is driven by huge passenger jet engines. We loaded two trucks with two M198 howitzers, plus two hummers in each LCAC. I have also walked through a C5A on the ground at an airshow in the early 1980s; it was so large that they had a high school marching band march through it (it opens both front and back). It took three passes for it to drop onto the runway of the tiny local airport, and it seemed to have passed just a few feet over the building where my grandfather was working.

That was crazy all of those vehicles. They cost so much money, but very cool to look at. An eighteen foot bight ceiling in a home is better especially if you have lots of chandeliers and it’s good to know the French tank could fit also did not know that.
