The heavy haulage of two CO2 gas tanks from the Barlage company in Haselünne to Dörpen was ill-fated from the start.
The transport first attracted attention because of halved trees in the city of Sögel.
Later the first gas tank tipped over shortly after passing this point and landed on the field next to the road. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
Com: Serryt: there are some more videos of the tipping and all the repair work , even an interview with the man in charge.
The banking of the curve was too much and the operator did not realize in time. Later when the transport moved again you can see the big visual indicators on the car
Com: Dennis: Why did none of these experts consider ballast weight on each trailer might be prudent.
If you have a light high load your centre of gravity is correspondingly higher. We've all seen box and curtain sided trailers lifted on one side by wind on open roads. This was basic schoolboy error and totally preventable.
