A 'Modified Chainsaws' group member shipped this to me from California.
I mounted it up to my saw and took it for a rip. Now it will be sent to another group member in another part of the world.
Looks and sounds fun but not adding any HP.
The idea of a two stroke exhaust is to reflect a sound wave back at the right time to keep the fresh air, fuel and oil charge in the cylinder that came up the transfers from the crankcase.
This pipe actually converges and gets bigger... you would likely have to run the saw with the high speed screw backed out a lot more than with a stock can type exhaust. It is what it is take it or leave it.
