Making a Brass Steam Engine! The construction took me more time than building the Solenid engine, there are much more elements here. However, brass is better than I thought in processing and it is also very easy to solder.
Who needs a milling machine and a slot cutter, when you can hold an angle grinder so steady!! Great work with minimal equipment. Cheers Paul
my son made a steam(air ) engine for a science project. getting the valve timing was tricky. a great uncle explained supplying more volume(bigger line) of steam would help. in the end to display it at the science fair it would have to be run in an explosion proof box . so a video tape was used at the fair
Thank you for sharing, I can't stop admiring your work. When I was in engineering school we made engines plain parts, but were big jobs, your work has more meaning because of the size, precision and detail. All the best from the distance, Montevideo-Uruguay. Be safe and have a good day.
