Jim Hervey: I wonder if a body could fashion some hardware cloth in the PVC fittings and load the tires with seeds such that only a few seeds could pass. It looks like the dirt gets packed in the cut side of the fitting. Maybe it could be drilled or modified easily. Again, what an awesome tool you figured out there.
EZ570:get a Rain Flo water wheel trans planter already. It will deliver water / fertilizer to every transplant that draws the plant roots and soil in close contact. That keeps the transplant from drying out, reducing trans plant shock. That allows you time to hook up the drip irrigation before the trans plant wilts in the sun.
