Not that many smart home made inventions, mainly home-made copies of inventions been around for decades.
I think three things make a person an inventor 1-Tenacity (because he does not like to do business, remedies find inventions to do the job in the easiest way) 2-Those who devote their investigative spirit to trade (they make profit thanks to their inventions) 3-The helpless ones (they are alone or their wallet is insufficient cheap and looks for an easy way out)
