I grew up in a really bad neighborhood and because I was the bookworm/nerd I got bullied a lot,

chased for no reason except to harass me.

So one day after some experimentation,

I developed these shotgun shell bomblets where I glued a cork on the primer end of the shell with a nail inserted that touched the primer.

Then I glued triangular fins on them for stability so when they were tossed in the air they'd always land correctly.
