That's a tree rotten on the inside. If you drop a bunch of trees, you're bound to run into a surprise like that.
You just can't see stuff like that.
The guy cutting did exactly what he was supposed to do. He dropped the saw and tried to run opposite the direction the tree was falling.
He survived because he knew what he was doing.
A tree like that would have killed anyone else in this video..

When cutting down trees you simply must have the ability to move faster then you thought.
It's amazing how fast the tree cutter moved and forced to leave a still running chain saw behind.

The others I kind of get because at least in one case the guy was cutting the gap away from the house,
but gravity and physics had other plans. Oooops...
